Our family and children's worker Samantha Forster works hard to co-ordinate a number of children's activities around the circuit. 

Regular family services are held at St Andrews and Cawthorne churches. Find the dates on the events page. 

We have three weekly toddler groups – St Andrews in Penistone on a Wednesday Morning , Denby Dale on a Tuesday Morning and Thurlstone and Millhouse Green on a Thursday morning. 

In addition to these, Samantha and a team of DBS checked volunteers also run regular holiday clubs and messy church sessions. Again see the events tab for details of these. 

We also hold outdoor services three times per year where children are most welcome to join in with fun activities and outdoor worship. These are usually held in Cannon Hall Park or Wither Woods near Clayton West. 

Several local schools welcome Samantha and her team to lead collective worship or run "Open the book" sessions. Sam also works with children who are about to transition to secondary school with an interactive and thought provoking Labyrinth session which she leads in schools in the Summer term.
